Hi Marion,
Sorry it’s been a bit of a whirlwind of things happening ever since the wedding, it’s been difficult to find the time to write any emails properly! Hope you’re well and recovered from our wedding, it was really truly fabulous and we have been getting all sorts of great comments from guests who really enjoyed themselves and thought it was the best wedding they’ve been invited to.
Being half-French and not living in France, it was important to find a bilingual planner who could talk to both me, the vendors and my now husband who doesn’t speak any French. Marion was the perfect bridge between everyone in the run-up to the wedding, she was vital with locating and organising the various providers for the day, and especially taking away the pressures from organising the celebration on the day. She is incredibly friendly and we really trusted her to be in control of the finer details of the wedding that can easily slip the mind – we were often remarking to ourselves of how glad we hired her and that she was always so on top of things. Without Marion, the day would not have been the success it was!
We’re off to the Maldives tomorrow so won’t be in contact very much…! Hope all is well with you and we honestly can’t thank you enough for your help for our wedding ☺

| We hope all is well in Provence. I can’t believe it has been almost two weeks since we’re back. It’s crazy how time flies so quickly! And we miss Provence! Thank you so much for everything you have done to make this wedding so special — not only for us but also for our families. Despite the weather, everything worked out well. Everyone had a really great time, and for us, this is clearly a moment that we will remember for the rest of our life. We were extremely lucky to have you not only as a friend but also as our wedding planner. We could not have done this project without you. You are definitely someone tailored for the role with very strong soft skills and many qualities:

During our time in Provence, we had the pleasure of working with Marion of Provence Weddings on not only 1 wedding in Valouse but also 3 wedding photoshoots within 5 days! She was so easy to work with and the warmth of her personality and great sense of humor makes her so fun to be around! We can’t say enough about how much we appreciated working with someone who is a genuinely good person and really cares about her work.
We were also thoroughly impressed by Marion’s professionalism and how organized she was in coordinating all the logistics throughout all the events. No detail was left unattended and no problem arose that Marion couldn’t handle! We would highly recommend Marion for her ability to effortlessly coordinate a wedding. During the wedding we worked with her in Nyons, the entire outdoor plan had to be changed due to rain the day prior to the event and shifted indoors. Yet all the guests had a fantastic time and things went without a hitch!
After that wedding, Marion coordinated 3 wedding photoshoots the following 3 days with us and many other vendors. Needless to say she selected stunning venues that left us breathless and showed us the true beauty of Provence, and also chose other high quality vendors that we are proud to be associated with.
We really cannot thank Marion enough for all her hard work and kind hospitality during our time in Provence. We are blessed to have her as our friend and look forward to working with her much more in the future!

| Quand on rencontre Marion Roche pour la première fois, on est immédiatement attiré par sa gentillesse. Mais, au-delà de ça, très rapidement, on s’aperçoit que c’est une personne dont on ne pourra plus se passer. Surtout, lorsqu’on vit, comme nous à l’étranger, et même si le lieu choisi pour le mariage de notre fils nous est familier. Marion est là pour tout organiser, et une fois choisis les différents prestataires indispensables, lorsqu’on a l’impression que… ouf! une bonne chose de faite… mais non, il reste encore des milliers de détails à régler auxquels on n’avait plus ou moins pas pensé et précisément dans les 3 semaines qui précèdent le grand évènement. Combien de fois a-t-on le sentiment qu’on va craquer, que rien ne va pouvoir se faire dans les temps ? mais bon, non on ne recule pas la date du mariage. Alors, Marion arrive avec son calme impressionnant, nous prouve qu’elle a tout bien en mains et qu’il n’y a aucune raison de paniquer. L’apparition de Marion dans les moments cruciaux, c’est comme quand on arrive dans un spa… relaxez-vous. L’autre atout trés appréciable de Marion, c’est qu’elle a bien sûr une quantité de noms et d’adresses à recommander, mais elle ne vous pousse jamais, elle accepte toujours sans probléme les gens que l’on veut soi-même choisir. Et puis, elle a cette faculté particulière de détecter dans les détails qui semblent les plus anodins, ce qui pourrait ultérieurement se transformer en problème et faire en sorte que cela se règle rapidement, ce qui n’est pas donné à tout le monde. Perspicacité, ou on dirait qu’elle a une baguette magique, mais certainement la magie chez elle, c’est le travail qu’on ne voit pas. Et de plus, tout en discrétion. Bref, s’il fallait lui décerner 5 étoiles sur 5, on lui en mettrait 6 ! Merci Marion, les souvenirs de ce magnifique mariage seront aussi liés à votre présence, autant pour nous que pour nos enfants. A trois mois de notre mariage en Provence que nous organisions depuis notre domicile à New York, j’ai entrepris une quête de dernière minute afin de trouver LA wedding planner parfaite pour nous aider avec la coordination du Jour J. Mon challenge était double: trouver la bonne personne à qui confier cette responsabilité et convaincre mon mari qui était contre l’idée d’engager une coordinatrice de mariage, insistant que nous étions parfaitement capables de gérer la coordination de ce jour sans aucune aide externe (pour savoir qui a eu raison, voir son commentaire plus bas).
Après avoir contacté une douzaine de wedding planners de la région, j’ai eu un coup de cœur pour Marion dès notre première rencontre: elle a une personnalité accueillante et chaleureuse du Sud de la France qui vous met tout de suite à l’aise, combiné avec une rigueur de travail Helvétique-Allemande qui vous met en confiance dès le début. J’ai tout de suite su que c’était elle la bonne personne et je ne me suis pas trompée! Durant les semaines qui ont suivi et jusqu’à notre mariage, Marion a été d’un professionnalisme sans égal, dépassant largement son mandat de gestion du Jour J, elle est devenue l’élément clé du succès de notre weekend de mariage. Au delà des tâches habituelles de coordination d’une dizaine de prestataires et d’une centaine d’invités (venant de plusieurs pays!) pour notre événement, Marion nous a fourni un planning et une organisation de la logistique de grande qualité, couvrant tous les détails possibles et s’assurant que chaque service reçu serait à la hauteur de nos attentes; de plus elle a su gérer des situations de crise avec tact et diplomatie, tout en restant hyper efficace dans un environnent où le stress et la pression étaient parfois très intenses. Du début à la fin, les capacités de Marion en termes d’hospitalité, événementiel et gestion de projet ont été dignes d’un service cinq étoiles, et reflètent je pense son expérience internationale dans ce domaine, tout en ayant la connaissance et le savoir-faire de travailler avec les partenaires locaux de la région Provençale (un élément qui peut être un défi en soit lorsqu’on ne connait pas l’étique de travail locale).
Enfin, dépassant les critères techniques, Marion nous a accompagnés tout au long de notre parcours avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme, flexibilité et une attitude toujours positive: à l’écoute de nos besoins et désirs, elle trouvait des solutions à toutes nos demandes (parfois les plus folles) et était notre soutien principal pour gérer tous les petits et grands problèmes qui surviennent naturellement dans l’organisation d’un mariage. Je souhaite lui remercier du fond du cœur pour tout le travail qu’elle a fourni afin de rendre ce jour le plus beau jour de notre vie – nos familles et nos invités ont tous été touchés par son remarquable professionnalisme et le soin qu’elle a su apporter à notre mariage! Je ne peux que la recommander vivement à toute personne cherchant une professionnelle de l’art du mariage, de l’événementiel ou de gestion de projets complexes. Merci Marion et j’espère que nous resterons en contact pour les années à venir!

Frankly, I’m not sure how we would have executed such an amazing wedding without Marion. Planning and hosting a wedding is perfect practice for being married; it’s a huge and very personal event, which often takes over a year to bring together with natural peaks and troughs. Marion was always there to assist with a positive attitude, lifting any burden from the two of us and able to find a solution. Her knowledge of the local area and venues is superb, with incredible resourcefulness to seek out local suppliers, for example finding some professional DJ equipment at one week’s notice!
Throughout the weekend Marion was there at every turn to assist. She learnt all of the key members of the wedding and was sure to make sure they were attended to. Her experience in the hospitality sector is clear as are the skills she has acquired for project management (eg her 3 page A3 project plan for the D day!), really all there is left to say is it is with our strongest gratitude that Marion was there to assist us as our wedding planner.
